i'm off for the weekend to slowenia with noel, tom, jen, and tom's roommate iztok (he's the slowenian). should be cheap...i doubt he'll let us pay for gas and we'll get free housing. yay! on saturday we're going to pay 20 Euros for an all-day-long sightseeing tour with provided meals, drinks, and transportation. it's cheap, but hopefully it'll still be good.

then lindsay comes to visit on monday! ahh, can't wait. unfortunately, i'll still have classes while she's here : (

i was dared to eat a raw onion for 2 euros. it was totally worth it...except i had onion smell coming out of my pores for about 4 days.





















none of the freezers here have ice makers since no one uses ice cubes. noah desperately wanted some, though, so he decided to scrape off chunks of ice from his broken and frozen-shut freezer. good work.
